About Michelle
Survivor not Victim was set forth with the vision Michelle set in the writing of her book Survivor not Victim, Stories Behind my Scars and the Path to Thriving. In her book she shares her trauma survivor and healing journey and the lessons she learned along the way taking the reader also on this journey and how they too can move from victimhood → survivorship → thrivership.
Michelle [pen name ‘Michelle Lauren’] brings a unique diverse professional experience. She started her career in the equine assisted therapies industry as Certified PATH Therapeutic Riding Instructor and Equine Specialist in Mental Health in Learning. She then went on and completed her Masters of Arts Strategic Leadership and Masters of Business Administration - Finance, and Certified Train-the-Trainer Professional. She is currently pursuring ICF Trauma-Informed Coaching Certification.
She now specializes in developing, implementing programs, program operations, training, and trauma-informed consulting. Explore ‘Path to Thriving’ services she offers.
